Toastmasters.

I attended a Toastmasters exhibition-like meeting today. It was more of an info session meets casual meeting. Guests were invited to observe a typical Toastmasters meeting. Between all the clapping and formal introductions and greetings, the air seemed a bit stiff for my taste. While I would love to improve on my speaking skills, I am not sure I am ready for the audience that sat before me this morning.

Something I took away from the meeting today: the use of the word season, outside the context of food.
